A window was recently installed in the kitchen of our little Episcopal Church, St. Luke's of La Union, New Mexico. When Jean came to our beautiful Rio Grande Valley with my Dad in 1947, she immediately found a home at St. Luke's. She did all the Churchwoman things; teaching Sunday School, altar guild, and her very favorite thing, baking and helping with the bake sale at the Fall Festival. She loved the church. And it loved her.
This was my Dad's idea, and I can't think of anything that my Mom would have loved more. Thank you to Karen Charles of La Mesa, New Mexico for a beautiful window.

The window is beautiful, Jan. Your mom would have approved.
